The Payroll Clerk performs a variety of clerical job duties for the payroll function of the City. Other duties include utility billing clerk substitute, ordering of office supplies, secretarial duties for the public works department, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and general administrative assistant duties.
This position earns a competitive wage of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification. QUALIFICATIONS
Successful applicants should have any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school, including courses in word processing, administrative assistant functions. Prefer one year office experience. Computer and accounting background experience desirable and must be bondable.
